Criminal Law

I  began working on criminal writs and appeals for a law professor in my  first year of law school.  I continued to do so until I became a Public Defender for Los Angeles County in 2005.  While at the Public Defender’s office, I obtained favorable results for my clients, whether it was a just verdict, plea agreement and/or sentence.  I left the Public Defender’s office in 2009 and founded my own practice.   I am currently a member of the California Appellate Project and am on the panel of appointed attorneys for the San Bernardino Appellate Division.  Everyone deserves the right of competent representation and access to justice if charged with a crime, regardless of their socioeconomic status.  I no longer take on privately retained criminal cases, except in special circumstances, as I prefer to give proper and full attention to my appointed clients.

I do consult and work with other private attorneys who need help on their criminal cases at both the trial and appellate levels.
